Sep. 2013 - Boulby Cosmic rays & Carbon Capture project features at the British Science Festival.
To celebrate the opening of the Boulby International Subsurface
Astrobiology laboratory (BISAL) the BBC's Rebecca Morelle spent the day
underground discovering all about studies of life in Boulby salts, and
how that links to the search for life on Mars and beyond. Check out our

Apr. 2013: On April 24 2013 Boulby hosted a workshop in collaboration with the UK Centre for Astrobiology: From Outer Space to Mining.
Bringing together organisations interested in developing space
exploration technology and mining companies, the workshop's objective
was to enhance technology transfer from space exploration to solving
Dec. 2012: STFC
& Boulby hosted the ASPERA-funded multidisciplinary deep underground
science workshop 'Underground Synergies With AstroParticle Physics' -

The UK Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) have announced
funding for a collaborative study to explore the development of cosmic
ray muon detection technology for deep geological structure mapping for
Carbon Capture and Storage sites. Boulby is playing an important role in this work.
